Powder Turns Discovered on Hurricane Ridge

Hurricane Ridge Roostertails 2011 from Freya Fennwood on Vimeo.

After returning from Mount Anderson, Freya and I went up to Hurricane Ridge  in search of the powder that we had hoped to find deeper in the Olympics. As it turns out, the Ridge was closed for almost the entire time that we were gone because there so much snow. When the plowers finally opened the road, there was an incredible amount of fresh and beautiful powder. Local boys Steve Sutorius, Marc Downing and myself wore Freya’s new Go Pro camera as we cheese-grated the pristine slopes. Check it!
